Derek Parsons
Parsons Investments Founder & Investment Advisor
Derek grew up working as an electrician for his family’s electrical contracting business. He worked during the summers, saved, and became the first in his family to get a college degree. His discipline with money allowed him to graduate debt free. Derek has been securities & insurance licensed and working as an advisor since. For 12 years, Derek has guided hundreds of clients closer to their financial goals. His educational background in Business/Finance, Math and Economics, and his experience in the field allows his clients to be confident in the work being done. That said, it’s his family that really gives Derek the connection to the work that is being done. Many clients’ goals are about building toward the future with their loved ones, and Parsons Investments is centered around that. At one point Derek was a multiple Mountain Bike National Champion and has taught yoga at local studios to be more connected to the community.
